A Long Weekend in New Orleans - Mini City Guide

Caitlin and I photographed a beautiful wedding in New Orleans and we decided to make it into a long weekend so we could explore the city for a couple of days! It was a quick trip but we hit some fun spots and ate some delicious food! Here's a quick recap of our long weekend in NOLA! It's mainly food-related...are you surprised?

We spent some time strolling in and out of the shops on Magazine Street and doing a little bit of Christmas shopping. So many cute places to see here!

Naturally, we had to stop to refuel with a nutella donut at District Donuts.

We ate lunch at Turkey and the Wolf and split the Italian American sandwich and the wedge salad. The salad was huge (a whole head of lettuce) and delicious. Paired with a glass of Rose, this was the perfect late lunch!

We walked through the french quarter, heard some live music, and enjoyed beignets since you can't go to New Orleans and not partake!

The Catahoula Hotel was probably our favorite spot for the weekend. We didn't stay there but will be the next time we visit! We had drinks in their quaint little courtyard and really enjoyed the eclectic, laid back feel of the place. They have a roof top wine bar along with a lot of other open air dining areas - that's our kinda place!
